BigHip Adds RSS Services For Customers

Bighip.com the Leader for Email Marketing announced today it has incorporated RSS ( Real Simple Syndication ) technology into its product offering.

Although RSS has been around for a while, the knowledgeable consumer is now using RSS to easily gather the information he or she wants to have at their fingertips. Our customers can now take advantage of this development. We have added the ability to allow users to easily manage multiple RSS channel feeds and place it on their web site using the BigHip service."

How hard is RSS to learn?

"The BigHip RSS feature is easy to use. When you create your email campaign to send to your email list, your content is automatically syndicated to your RSS channel. The software will instantly distribute your message to your RSS channel at the same time your email campaign is launched. Just as easily, you can create a stand alone RSS feed. This means your customers and prospects who have subscribed to your feed can instantly receive your message on their desktop."

How does the BigHip RSS service work?

"When you create your email list, the software provides you with an RSS icon which you can place on your web site. The visitor clicks on this icon and adds the RSS channel to their favorite RSS reader. This is all done for you automatically. When you publish an email campaign, it is automatically added to your feed and visible in your subscribers RSS feed reader on their desktop without any content filtering. In a way it is like creating your own private television channel. BigHip provides you with the broadcasting capability, you provide the content."

How will using RSS benefit an online business?

"By distributing your content using the BigHip RSS service, this guarantees delivery of your message to your subscriber's desktop. You can also syndicate your RSS channel on your own website. This can boost the search engine rankings of your site by providing ever changing content.
