Generating a list of email addresses is your first step. BigHip offers an Email capture panel wizard which
generates the HTML code to be placed on your website. Once your customers enter their email information and
confirm their address, you may then send email campaigns to the verified addresses.
Double opt-in is your protection against the sending of unsolicited email or SPAM. Use the BigHip email
capture panel form feature to create a place for customers to sign up to receive email from your company's
website. After a visitor registers at your site they will receive a confirmation email. By clicking on the confirmation email, your visitor has "double opted-in" which means they are the rightful owner of that email address and they would like to receive
emails from you.
Sending unsolicited mail or SPAM may result in your emails being blocked by ISP’s and corporate domains.
